Diane Miller, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Diane Miller, Senior Director of Human Resources and Operations, joined the RST team in April 2014 as the first Human Resources representative. In her role, she ensures that HR policies and procedures are consistently administered and aligned with RST organizational goals, are compliant with professional standards, and meet state and federal regulatory requirements and laws. She plans, directs and manages human resource initiatives such as benefits, compensation, recruitment, and payroll within the organization. Diane is also key in serving as a consulting resource and provides guidance to management in the areas of employee relations policy, procedure and performance management.
Diane has over 20 years of non-profit and for-profit HR experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and is certified by both the Human Resources Certification Institute as a SPHR (Senior Professional of Human Resources) and the Society for Human Resources Management as a SHRM – SCP (Senior Certified Professional). Diane has participated in extensive training in conflict resolution, employment law, work related investigations, employee and labor relations as well as workplace safety and security. In addition to HR Management, Diane has taken on the Operations duties at RST. She ensures that all seven offices function smoothly and efficiently, and facilitates growth at RST, most recently assisting with an expansion into a new office in the Rio Grande Valley.
