Hannah Arendt, who fled Nazi Germany for Czech., and then later Switzerland, had her momentus coverage of the Eichmann trial published by The New Yorker on this day in 1963. A naturalized citizen of the US, Arendt's coverage was extremely contreversial. She would later go on to defend her impressions of Eichmann, though the controversy of her work still goes on today, it is widely regarded as some of the most recongizable coverage from that very trial.
