GRAPHIC CONTENT & COMMUNICATIONS INTERN: ACCEPTING SUMMER 2021 & FALL 2021 APPLICATIONS

RST is seeking a Graphic Content & Communications intern to help initiate, develop, execute and manage a comprehensive marketing and communications program by helping create program information materials and send solicitation letters for the purpose of raising resources, contributions and volunteers for newly resettled refugees and other displaced persons to support self-sufficiency in the communities RST serves across Texas. EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM INTERNSHIP(S): ACCEPTING FALL 2021 APPLICATIONS

RST is seeking Undergraduate and/or Master's-Level Interns to assist with their Employment Program. The internship requires a minimum of 16 hours a week for one full semester, depending on time/educational requirements. Internship duties consist of assisting newly-arrived individuals with job development, job search, applying for jobs, going to job interviews, or other services related to helping clients find employment and attain self-sufficiency in the United States. CASH AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM INTERNSHIP(S): ACCEPTING FALL 2021 APPLICATIONS

RST is seeking Undergraduate and/or Master's-Level Interns to assist with their Cash and Medical Assistance (CMA) Program. The CMA internship will be project based, both allowing the intern to utilize computer skill, and gain an understanding of the U.S. Refugee Program and the various domestic and international policies influencing refugee resettlement. SURVIVORS OF TRAFFICKING EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM (STEP) INTERNSHIP(S): ACCEPTING SUMMER + FALL 2021 APPLICATIONS

The Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program (STEP) Intern will help support case managers with their day-to-day duties. MIGRANT WELLNESS PROGRAM INTERNSHIP

RST seeks an intern for the Migrant Wellness Program in Dallas OR Houston who will help to manage and itemize in-kind donations from the community and guarantee efficient, documented distribution to clients, support Licensed Clinicians with tasks for vulnerable populations, create and facilitate client workshops and support clinicians with their day-to-day duties. Click here to learn more.

FAITH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

The intern will engage with the faith community to engage faith members in community and resource mobilization, send out weekly newsletters to volunteers and other community members, and introduce different faith groups to RST’s mission and work, including but not limited to local and regional churches, mosques, synagogues, temples and faith orientated organizations. IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES INTERNSHIP

RST seeks an intern for the Immigration Legal Services Program in Dallas who can commit at least 15 hours per week to assist the program. This is a perfect opportunity to gain insight into the legal field of immigration. Click here to learn more.

REFUGEE CASH ASSISTANCE INTERNSHIP

Refugee Services of Texas in Dallas is seeking an organized and culturally sensitive intern to join its dynamic team either part-time or full-time in its Dallas office. A Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) intern works with clients who have been in the U.S. for less than eight months and are eligible to receive cash assistance. ADULT EDUCATION ORIENTATION INTERNSHIP

Assist with Cultural Orientation workshops and English as a Second Language classes. Our CO Workshops provide refugees with an opportunity to learn about life in America, what to expect, and to also meet with other refugees experiencing the ups and downs of refugee resettlement. CASE AID

The Dallas office is looking to work with a group of Case Aid Interns interested in learning about the United States Reception and Placement program and having an opportunity to directly work with and enhance our local resettlement program. Click here to learn more.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR INTERNSHIP

Learn the tools of effective volunteer management as a Volunteer Coordination Intern. Interns will help plan events, come up with new opportunities for volunteers, give presentations, and track donations. Professionalism, organization, and communication skills are a must. Click here to read more.

SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT SERVICES INTERNSHIP

Interns will work closely with Social Adjustment Services Case Managers to ensure clients have access to medical services and care. Communicate with city and state agencies to coordinate housing and medical services, provide transportation, and help mentor a family or individual. CULTURAL ORIENTATION INTERN

This position is open to students who are willing to lead in a continued effort to orientate refugees so that they may become self-sufficient and integrate successfully into their new community. As the cultural orientation intern, the student will develop and coordinate cultural orientations according to client needs, develop learning opportunities, and ensure the continued success of program and the clients.  Click here to read more.
