Intensive & Medical Case Management Program
Refugee Services of Texas' Preferred Communities (PC) program provides free intensive case management for particularly vulnerable members of eligible populations: refugees, asylees, SIVs, Cuban/Haitian entrants, Certain Amerasians from Vietnam, ORR Certified Victims of Torture, and Unaccompanied Minors within their first 5 years. Our case managers work to educate our clients and empower them to navigate relevant systems, such as learning to manage their health concerns and become connected to community support systems.
Our goal is for each client to achieve self-sufficiency based on individualized goals. Our services are trauma-informed and utilize a strength-based approach.
