Refugee Youth Program

services, mentorship, and opportunities for refugee youth to engage in their community. Refugee youth meet with a mentor on a regular basis to develop their goals and interests. By helping youth better adapt to life in the United States, the Refugee Youth Program takes some of the pressure off of refugee parents, who must navigate their own transition to a brand new life, culture, and language.

Offered by RST's Dallas and Amarillo offices, the Refugee Youth Intensive Case Management Program - commonly referred to as the Refugee Youth Program (RYP) - is one of the only programs nationwide designed to specifically address unique challenges refugee youth face as part of resettlement. Funded through Church World Service and Lutheran Immigration Refugee Services, RYP offers case management,  social adjustment
